Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland recognizes Stop Trafficking Us

Stop Trafficking US is proud to announce that it has been recognized by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland! As the month of January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland has acknowledged Stop Trafficking US and the efforts of its founder, Catherine Wilson as advocates of this important global issue.

“Convened by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishop’s Migration and Refugee Services, the Coalition of Catholic Organizations Against Human Trafficking (CCOAHT) consists of over 35 national and international agencies working to end human trafficking and support survivors.

CCOAHT members advocate for stronger state and federal legislation, promote trauma-informed and survivor-centered services for victims, raise public consciousness, and press the private sector and consumers to prioritize slave-free supply chains.”

Stop Trafficking US is honored to be part of this coalition and looks forward to its new collaboration.
